Finishing Touches

Spot UV Varnish

Spot UV is a high-gloss finish applied to a specific area of your paper surface. Generally to achieve a contrast between a gloss, matt or uncoated surface.

Embossing / Debossing

Debossing is a technique that leaves an impression of the logo on an item. A heated, metal plate is applied to the surface of the item and when removed it leaves behind a recessed imprint.

Foil Blocking

Similar to debossing (and using the same machinery), foil blocking leaves an imprint in the item, but the difference is that it can add colour to the impression. The colour is added by putting a colour foil between the dye and the product. The most popular colours to use are silver and gold.

Cotton Bags For Life

In recent times cotton has become increasingly popular, due mainly to the reduction of single use carrier bags made from paper and polythene. Customers have become increasingly aware or recycling and re-use initiatives, aimed at reducing less durable alternatives.

We hold stock of the most popular standard re-use sizes. Cotton Bags can be supplied with short or long cotton carrying handles, plain or printed up to six colours to both sides and based on a two week lead-time. Other sizes and specially dyed bags to match pantone colours are available on longer lead-times.

Jute Bags For Life

Like the cotton bags, Jute bags have seen a dramatic increase in popularity and is perceived as a more durable alternative to cotton.

The standard Jute Bag size we hold in stock is 390mm x 150mm x 360mm which we have found to be the most popular re-use size among shoppers. These bags are printed in-house and can be delivered on short lead-times. Supplied with a soft round padded cotton handle.

Many other sizes are available on request and are based on longer lead times. Options include pantone specified dyed bags and handles.

PP Woven Bags for Life

Widely used for holding heavy items. PP Woven Bags are ideal for long term use, being very strong and easy to wipe clean.

PP Non-Woven Carrier Bags

Branded PP Non-Woven Bags are 100% bespoke to your size and print design. Even though the bags look like textile, they are in fact made from spun bonded polypropylene, commonly known as PP, which is a by product of crude oil.
